Why Kinora

A Gentle, Thoughtful Approach

Respectful Dialogue Focus

Every workshop exercise is designed so that all voices in the room feel heard. The pace is unhurried and the atmosphere is warm — nobody is put on the spot.

Clear Scope, No Overreach

We are transparent about what Kinora is and is not. Educational content and organising help only — personal matters are always directed to qualified professionals and official bodies.

No Pressure, Ever

Participants set their own pace. Sharing is always voluntary. The peer community and workshops are designed as supportive spaces, not spaces of obligation or expectation.

Inclusive for All Family Shapes

Families come in many forms. Kinora workshops and sessions welcome all household structures without assumptions or judgement.

Practical Takeaways

Participants leave each session with something tangible — a labelled records folder, a printed conversation guide, or a new framework to try at home.

Privacy-Minded

Group sessions run under shared confidentiality norms. Personal information shared in community spaces stays within the group. Your family's story is your own.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is covered in the Weaving Conversations Workshop? +

The workshop covers general communication skill-building: listening without interrupting, reflecting back what you have heard, and creating space for different perspectives within a group. All exercises are educational. This is not counselling, mediation, or any form of regulated professional service.

Do I need to bring anything to the Records Weave-Together Session? +

Just the documents and keepsakes your household already has — certificates, photos, insurance papers, or whatever you want organised. We supply labelling materials and folder sets. There is no requirement to bring any specific item; the session works with whatever you have.

Is the Threads Community Membership an ongoing commitment? +

The membership is renewed each period and there is no automatic rollover. You choose when to continue. Access covers monthly workshops, the printable guide library, and the peer community space. All community discussion is moderated to stay educational and kind.

Are these sessions suitable if our family is going through a difficult time? +

Kinora workshops are educational and general in nature. If your household is navigating a situation that requires professional support — legal, psychological, financial, or otherwise — we will always encourage you to consult the appropriate qualified professional or official body. Our sessions complement, rather than replace, that kind of help.

How long does each session run? +

The Weaving Conversations Workshop runs approximately two and a half hours. The Family Records Weave-Together Session is typically three to four hours depending on how much material you bring. Membership workshops vary but are usually around two hours each month.

Where are sessions held? +

Sessions take place at our space at 47 Soi Ngamwongwan 23, Mueang, Nonthaburi 11000. We ask that participants confirm their attendance a few days in advance so we can prepare the right number of materials. Please contact us if you need directions or have accessibility requirements.
